I wrote this several years ago, but it never got to see the light of day. I recently wrote a self reflection, and referenced this in it. I figure I may as well have it posted. on with the blog:
In August I visited the east coast to visit relatives, and go to a summer camp that I enjoy. Its name is Longacre Leadership, and while I have not done the full camp, I have done 2 years at the minicamp, so this will be a summary of my experiences there. The first thing that happened (after I did all the non interesting stuff that people don't like to read about) I went to my cabin to unpack and I also happened to be the first camper (besides my sister) eventually my friend from my last year at longacre arrived, and we also got to see another friend from last year drop his sister off. fast forward many minutes, and we were all getting ready to walk to the on-site pool where I had a blast at last year. to summarize it, I passed the basic swim test, and jumped in the pool. then after some swimming, I played apples to apples and laid on a pool chair (not the ones that go in the water). This is how all the pool days went (except for one)
