Our big trip (part 1 of part 2)

So after the sewing macine was seen I went upstairs and had breakfast. Later on some people came up and then later on I was able to publish my poetry book called the cats of our time I was sitting around being bored

The Countdown Has Started

Sorry I haven't been blogging recently, ever since school started its been work, work, work so its great to have Christmas to look forward to. At a lot of schools there have been tons of days off, I like that except every friday 5th grade has computers. (Thats the easiest way to refer to it) personally thats my favorite class so all the "missing fridays" in the week mean no computers = ( .But at least we are doing cool stuff! Of course some of you might want to know what I'm into this season, I'll put it in my next post (if I decide by then!)

Our big trip Part 1

Yesterday my family and I went to the airport for our three day trip to Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and New York. I had a lot of apps for the one stop plane ride
 to State College, so I didn't think that I would get bored.
When we landed in Pittsburgh, We decided to get some chow. There
  were a lot of great places to eat in the airport but my mom said no, no, no. I was about to give 
 up looking for food when I saw a sushi place, everyone agreed to it and we ate when 
 we finished it was time to go to terminal F. To get there we had two choices. One, to take one of 
those walkways. Two a shuttle. We chose two. When we got  to the terminal, I realized
  that terminal F was meant for those little planes that go to small airports like
  the one we were going to. The ride was suppose to be an hour but was about
   fifteen minutes when we landed we went to ya ya and yiyi
  and went I came to look and saw the highest tech sewing machine ever, complete with 
a fully functional touch screen, a thread cutter, and a lot of other stuff.

Taho in the summer

Hi, right now I'm at Lake Tahoe and having a great time(we also brought daisy) . When we came Amy and Suzanne where already at the beach. After we dropped all our stuff at the house we rented we went to the beach. it was a two minute drive and when got to the beach part i was pretty disappointed since it was super small and SUPER crowded, plus the water was ice cold and crowded,but then I saw the swimming borders and thought that it was to small. eventually Ezra and i where having fun in the water. but eventually Ezra got out and we all went to get ice cream. Nadia and I got Drumsticks while Katie got Dibs. Then Ezra decided to go kayaking so that left me to stay with Suzanne, Nadia, and Katie. I went to a bouncy house and played dead man with some kids, but when we all got out for a break they deflated the bouncy house. When I saw the pile of plastic I decided to get some chicken fingers. after that Was all boring and I don't bore you so I'll end here.

Lego Robotics

hi, My new camp is Lego Robotics at the Lawrence Hall of Science. Right now I'm one week into the course. And working on a robot made from scratch. My partner and I decided to work on a car then add some guns to the side and possibly change the tires to treads. I was thinking about armor. But when I saw another groups machine gun, I decided to put on at least four pieces of armor. If you have any questions you can leave them as a comment.

My first time seeing fireworks

last night we went to see fireworks had to what three hours and sat on a blanket on asphalt with the roaring wind.  the fireworks looked like this...cool huh?

ID Tech day 1-5

A week ago I went to ID tech. When I got there I saw a ton of kids. After I singed in I got my lanyard and went down some stairs to the kids. After everyone was sorted we went inside and opened a PC program called multimedia fusion 2. The first thing we did was pick a character. At first I chose a robot with a gun but later switched to a tank. Then we moved the character around with the arrow keys by pressing F2. then made first condition to keep him in the frame so he could always stay in sight. then we also made it so he could only walk left and right. then we chose something to shoot something at him. I chose cartoon warrior and made him shoot a small navy ship. By then It was time for lunch. Since UC berkeley has a cafeteria we could have eaten there and have just had to walk up some stairs, But since I had a lunch I knew I had homemade lunch but their cafeteria was closed, so we went to a bigger one. When we got their a counselor said "Cold lunch people over hear" but then panda said I had the cafeteria food, so I went in. After a short wait in line and after I found the trays, I immediately saw the square cut vanilla frosted lemon cake. I took a piece and a piece of another thing that was next to the cake. And just as I was looking for more food that didn't have a line. Panda came up to me and said I needed to add something healthy. So I went and found the pizza, and the rest of the time was eating pizza, talking with brick, and discovering the frozen yogurt machine, and leaving. And since this is getting long and I can't remember the details of the next few hours, I'm going to stop hear.(this is only day 1 halfway) ( :

slumber party

A week ago, I went to a slumber party at Josh's house.  I was first to get there. The first thing that was interesting was a whole bowl of m&ms but they were for when the pizza arrived. Then Matthew came and Josh's brothers kept stealing m&ms so i got the job of guarding them. Hugo arrived shortly after that and we started to fill water balloons. Then finally the pizza came. We ate it in the backyard and I ate mine the fastest, even my second slice. We then got to work with the water balloons. It took about an hour, but it paid off. We then teamed up and started a water fight. I hit Hugo a few times. When Anthony (another friend) had the last balloon I ran to the backyard and went to the other side of the house were i thought there was an exit, Anthony threw the balloon and I duked as it exploded over my head. We went in I was completely dry, but just about everyone else was wet. We watched TV and ate  for the next hour. Then when it was time to get into our sleeping bags and we talked. Anthony and I couldn't sleep till About one. We woke up and watched more TV. Then went to a park for the rest of the time.

Poetry 2

I have great news about the poetry book. I only have two poems left!  I'm probably going to finish on Saturday or Sunday if not earlier. I'll tell you when I'm finished. I'm also publishing a parenting book which will have directions for getting a kid to follow instructions, to being able to detect lying, and much more. I'm also going to have some charts and a reason why I created the book at the begining and when I started to make the charts.  The book will be available at lulu.com

Sorry I haven't blogged recently. Yesterday I decided to write a poetry book and self publish it.

CCCT work party

Today I when to the CCCT work party (my 3rd grade teacher Ms. Ray's grandparents founded it so naturally she works there) One of Ms. Ray's students Marisol was there when I got there. First me, Mrs. Ray, and Marisol were in the costume room sorting stuff. I got to keep three gloves. Then the pizza came. After three slices of cheese pizza and 3 cups of Sprite we checked some staff binders. We also found a cool lanyard so me and Marisol did a 2 out of 3 ro- sham- bo and I won all three and won it.  Then we found a binder that was too skinny, so I got to keep it. Then we had to clean the baseboards in most of the rooms.   Then we had to wipe under the seats in the auditorium and then Marisol left and we cleaned the counter and the baseboards. I'm do it again next year.

Deer

A few days ago I was going to fall asleep when I decided to bring Ois into my room , I whent  to the door and opened it and a deer was at the bottom of our porch steeps I quickly closed the door and the deer scampered then 5 seconds later I opened the door and Saw two deer walking on the far side of Hopkins towards King Park. I got Ois and went to bed.

My first investment

Tonight I placed an order for one share of Target Corp. it is priced around $56.00-$58.00. The transaction   doesn't happen until tomorrow.

spring break

This week its spring break for some schools a lot of people go skiing in Lake Tahoe. And others go to camp. On wednesday my family is going with Ezra's family we leave on wednesday and come back on friday. During my 3 day vacation I might not be able to blog.

The new berkeley public library

Yesterday the berkeley public library that closed last year to be improved finally reopened. It's new things are a whole new floor with a elevator, meeting room,and a bathroom. On the first floor the entrance is the same but the checkout desk is in front of the library entrance. The children's  room is completely redecorated, the adults room is the same except the beams were revealed. There's a new lounge ,and if you go towards the stairwell  you'll see the holds. In front of the stairs there's a screen that shows what the library looked like before the upgrades. the reopening brought tons of people.

PetSmart

The pet smart in albany is closing the other one might be in richmond if you would groom your dog there Petco also can groom your dog/s one employe said she really didn't want petsmart to close

Soirée kids party

Last night was the soiree and at the lower school.  About 50 kids hung out. We ate pizza, played games like Uno, Kinex, Chess, then watched a movie (4th-5th graders could play marble blast) until we got picked up. I loved it

Menna and Lucy were in charge, and two or three upper schoolish kids.  Lucy brought Flavio out.
